The Forum for the Study of Jurisprudence and Value Inquiry is an interdisciplinary and cross-cultural community of scholars from universities in the UK and around the world. Our approach to study and inquiry is both interdisciplinary and cross-cultural, with a focus on the Non-Western World.

We seek to gain insight into worldviews and values that shape scholarship and engagement with law and legal education in those jurisdictions
Our goal is to enrich the internationalization experience of participants through cross-cultural engagement. We believe that public engagement is a two-way process, involving interaction and listening, with the goal of generating mutual benefit. We host a series of Cross-Cultural Conversation events, which bring together scholars, legal practitioners, and policymakers to discuss topics related to jurisprudence and value inquiry.
